Casmir

Assistant Artistic Director

Casmir Wells grew up in Washington and began dancing at the age of 8. She attended the University of Washington for her freshman year of college before deciding to continue her education at Everett Community College so she could be closer to home and to her dance students. During her time at the University of Washington, Casmir was honored to be a part of the cheer/dance team which provided her with valuable collegiate dance experience. Previously, she trained at Northwest Dance and Acro. During her time as a dancer at Northwest Dance and Acro, she competed on Americas Got Talent in 2010. This lead to being on New Day Northwest.


Casmir developed a strong work ethic and her dedication to practice each day lead her to be successful at dance competitions including a first place awards. She has won multiple scholarships to attend National Ranked Competitions. In 2013, Casmir was nominated to be a part of Cirque du Soleil in Montreal Canada.


As a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer, Casmir has choreographed winning choreography awards regionally and nationally. Her dancers and work have placed 1st overall on numerous occasions. Casmir never worried about placing or how well she did, it was about how music inspires her to work through her body and achieve the best accomplishments.


Over the years, Casmir has drawn inspiration from her grandmother who was like a mother to her and was always very proud of her. It is very important to Casmir that her students feel comfortable in class; she goes out of her way to be sure they understand her instructions and is happy to go over the steps until they are clear. She asks that students come to class prepared for anything and with determined focus.


Felicia

Marketing Director

Felicia was born and raised in Plantation, FL, and has been dancing since the ​age of four. She competed with her hometown dance studio's xtreme team ​from age six to eighteen, earning numerous awards at prestigious competitions ​and conventions like ShowStopper and The Pulse. In high school, she led her ​school's dance team in choreography, winning a local competition against ten ​other schools 4 years in a row.

Throughout the years, Felicia has taught and choreographed various dance ​styles, including ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, and contemporary, to students aged 4 ​through 18 at several dance studios throughout Florida. Her choreography has ​received acclaim and awards at national competitions. Notably, she performed ​in the 2006 Orange Bowl halftime show with pop star Ciara, the 2004 ​Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in NYC, and was part of the 2006 ​International Dance Challenge Senior and Junior "Challenge Champions" and ​the 2008 Starbound National Production Grand Champions. She has also ​trained intensively with renowned choreographers Chris Judd, Mia Michaels, ​Brian Friedman, and Shane Sparks.

Professionally, Felicia is a healthcare executive overseeing marketing and ​operations for medical facilities across Southwest Florida. However, her true ​passion lies in dance. Felicia has a keen interest in ensuring all students feel ​comfortable, confident, and beautiful in any class she teaches. She is thrilled to ​continue her teaching career at The Dance Lounge, sharing her love for dance ​and bringing out student's unique style and energy.


Taelor

Born and raised in the vibrant Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas, Taelor Allen's dance journey began at the age of two. Her passion for movement ignited early, and by age five, she was deeply immersed in competitive dance and cheer. Taelor's exceptional talent and leadership shone through as she served as co-captain of her high school dance team, setting the stage for a promising career.

Taelor continued to nurture her craft while attending Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where she graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Statistical Science. During her college years, Taelor embarked on a professional dance career with The Dallas Vigilantes Dancers, performing for the Arena Football League. Her career continued as she danced with the Dallas Mavericks NBA Dance Team from 2012 to 2014.

In 2013, Taelor met her husband, Dane Allen, in Dallas. The couple relocated to Florida in 2016, where Taelor expanded her horizons by teaching 1st grade at Chiefland Elementary while also contributing her expertise to a local dance studio. In 2022, they moved to Southwest Florida, where Taelor is thrilled to bring her extensive experience and enthusiasm for dance to the community.

In 2023, Taelor and Dane welcomed their first baby girl, Everley. Taelor is eagerly looking forward to sharing her passion for dance with her daughter and continuing to collaborate with the top dance professionals in Southwest Florida.


Hope

Hope was born and raised in Fort myers, ​and is currently enrolled in cosmetology ​school at FMTC. At the age of 2, she ​began gymnastics and competed through ​level 8. When she was 12 years old, she ​fell in love with dance and began her ​competitive dance career. Hope has won ​multiple awards as an elite dancer. She ​was an assistant dance teacher in ​different genres of dance for many years. ​Her favorite part is sharing my ​knowledge of gymnastics and dance with ​young girls and watching them grow in ​their confidence and skills!

Jozi

My name is Joslyn (Jozi) Hei, I am originally from Littleton, ​Colorado and recently made the move to Fort Myers to ​attend FGCU and pursue a degree in Marine Sciences. I ​have been dancing since I was 2 and competitively dancing ​since the age of 5. I have received training in Cecchetti, ​Royal Academy of Dance performance ballet, Russian ​ballet, Russian acrobatics, French ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, ​contemporary, lyrical and Pom. My freshman year of ​highschool I joined the Poms team dancing sidelines and ​halftimes of games while competing in the styles of Lyrical ​Jazz, Team, and game-day. I am a current member of the ​FGCU dancing e’gals. I have a passion for choreography ​and sharing my love of dance!

Amber

Amber is originally from Land O' Lakes, Florida. She is currently an FGCU Dancing E'Gal living in Fort Myers. She attends Florida Gulf Coast University and is studying Exercise Science. Amber trained at Mary Jo's Performing Arts Academy in Tampa and studied ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop. She has been competing and attending dance conventions since elementary school and has won multiple top score awards and scholarships. She has received invitations to and attended Power Pak Dance Intensive on multiple occasions. She feels privileged to have worked with choreographers such as Marinda Davis, Zachary Heller, Andrij Deneka, Dee Caspary, Sky Hoffman and MORE!

She has performed in Classical Ballet of Tampa's productions including the Nutcracker, Cinderella and Snow White. She is extremely excited to share her knowledge and love of dance.

Noelia

Ballroom Instructor

DANCE FLOW

Noelia is the owner of Dance Flow in Fort Myers. She was born in ​Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

She also began her career at age of 8 in Ballet and Contemporary ​Dance on the Municipal School of Dance Norma Fontella. At 14 ​years old, she dabbled in Jazz, Contemporary and Salsa. At age of ​15 she performed her first Salsa Shows and started traveling to ​several, national and international, Salsa Congress.

In 2007 she moved to Buenos Aires where she ventures into the ​Argentine Tango and Ballroom Dance world and achieves an ​important recognition in Salsa to be the first dancer in implement ​Ballroom Dance techniques in this Latin genre, positioning her ​between first and second places in the most prestigious ​Championships in South America.

At the same time Noelia worked as a dancer in several theater ​plays touring around the country. She also worked as Coach ​Assistant on the TV program Dancing with the Stars in Argentina.

Noelia received her first gold medal in Ballroom Dance in 2008 ​in the South American World Dance Experience Championship, ​American Rhythm.


Brigitte

Brigitte has been an experienced gymnastics coach ​for over 16 years, mentoring and motivating athletes ​of all ages and skill levels, from mommy & me classes ​to upper level competitive. Her love for gymnastics ​started at the young age of 1.5. Over the next 13 ​years of competing, it grew into a lifelong passion ​and a desire to share it with others. Her past years of ​coaching have been dedicated to fostering a love for ​the sport and watching her athletes shine!

Brigitte loves creating an energetic, positive and ​supportive environment where everyone can flourish!


In her free time she enjoys going to the beach and ​adventuring with her family.


Deenah

Deenah has been dancing for over ​15 years. She grew up with a ​passion for dance but fell in love ​with teaching the art of dance and ​caring for kids. Deenah was a ​competitive dancer with title wins, ​scholarships, and devoted ​countless hours to dance classes. ​She was a team leader and an ​excellent role model to her ​students. When she's not dancing, ​she's working with kids and ​teaching at the church. Deenah ​started running her own dance ​camps at the age of 15 and ​assisting classes at the age of 12. ​She is certified in CPR and loves to ​ensure that every kid has a big ​smile on their face and shines on ​stage."

Kat

NFL Style Dance Instructor


Kat Cowan, a former Miami ​Dolphins cheerleader (1999-2003), ​specializes in NFL-style dance ​classes. With over two decades of ​experience, she creates an ​energetic and supportive ​environment for her students, ​emphasizing technical skills and ​performance quality.


An avid paddle boarder and weight ​training enthusiast.

Vida

After graduating Virginia Tech, Vida embarked on a twenty-year career as a fashion corporate executive. However, her love for dance has been a constant in her life since childhood, where she trained extensively in ballet, tap, and jazz.

During high school, Vida honed her skills further as a member of the dance team, competing regionally and annually at the prestigious Dance Team Nationals. Last year, Vida transitioned into teaching as a dance instructor for Dancing Little Stars where she shares her expertise in ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop with young students throughout Fort Myers and Cape Coral preschools. Vida's journey is driven by her profound love for dance and dedicated to developing the potential of every dancer.
